I have written for The San Mateo Times, the Santa Rosa Press Democrat and am currently working part-time as an assistant sports editor at the Palo Alto Weekly, which has received numerous awards for its sports coverage and layout.

In addition, I have written (as a stringer) for The Associated Press, The Boston Globe, the Tucson Citizen, the Seattle Times, the Durham Herald-Sun, the Medford Mail-Tribune, the Coloradoan and the City Newspaper (Nashville).

I am a former member of the Baseball Writers Association of America. I've had lunch with Jerome Holtzman, dinner with Frank Robinson and Paul Blair (thank you Sam Skinner, R.I.P), and sat beside Robin Roberts, Nick Peters, Dave Boswell, Lowell Cohn, Jeff Fletcher, Bob Padecky, Susan Slusser, Elliott Almond, Jane Lee, Michelle Smith, Jake Curtis, Janie McCauley, Pedro Gomez, Josh Dubow, Greg Beacham, Dave Albee and a secret service agent in various press boxes.
